Overview

I am currently open to supervising Bachelors and Masters theses in English. Currently, I offer supervision on the topics listed below, but I am happy to discuss other ideas related to cognitive science and social psychology. If you are interested in working with me, please reach out via email with a brief description of your background and research interests. Having a specific project idea in mind is a plus, but not required.

Current Supervision Topics

Suspicion probes

Researchers often use deception to study social cognition, filtering data from participants who report feeling suspicious about the conditions of the study in a post-experiment suspicion probe. We investigate the validity of such probes.

Perceiving interactions

What kinds of properties can we perceive in others' social interactions? For example, can we perceive how much two people like each other just from their movements? This line of research investigates how observers perceive and understand others from their joint actions.
